On February 25, in Abu Dhabi, as part of the Plenary Session of the Sirius Talent Summit Forum, it will be announced the start of accepting applications for participation in the Open International Competition for the development of a master plan for the quarters of the Sirius federal territory.
The forum includes more than 40 scientific, educational, creative, cultural and sports events with the participation of leading Russian scientists, teachers and industrial partners. The session will be held in the meeting room of the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the event will begin at 17:00.
The plenary session will be addressed by the chairman of the Council of the federal territory "Sirius," the head of the Educational Fund "Talent and Success," the chairman of the Jury of the Competition Elena Shmeleva, who will announce the official start of the application campaign and talk about the terms of reference and requirements of the competition. The participants of the event will also be members of the Competition Jury: Her Excellency Dr. Aisha Bin Butti Bin Bishr, digital tycoon, expert on global digital transformation, strategic leader of smart city initiatives and Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Ruslan Edelgeriev.
The competition was announced on February 8 to attract the strongest architectural bureaus and development institutions of the BRICS + countries to create, together with Sirius on its territory, a world-class advanced scientific, technological and educational environment. The Agency for Strategic Development CENTER. was chosen as the operator of the Competition.
The competition covers two sites with an area of 19.4 and 23.1 hectares, where it is planned to create a scientific and technological cluster, which will house the second stage of the scientific and technological campus of the University "Sirius," as well as an innovative medical cluster, which includes the Medical Clinical Center "University Clinic" Sirius "with a specialization in oncological diseases. The winner's master plan should identify key scenarios for the spatial organization and use of these areas.

Sirius Talent Summit will begin on February 23 and will last three days, during which hundreds of guests will get acquainted with the possibilities of the federal territory in the field of identifying and developing talented children and youth, cultural, musical and historical traditions of Russia. Leading experts of the Russian Federation and the UAE will discuss the most important issues of international and regional cooperation in the fields of education, science, art, ecology, adaptation to climate change and innovative development.
