There are ten days remaining to submit applications to participate in the Open International Competition for the development of a master plan for the scientific and technological districts of the Sirius federal territory. They are accepted via the official website of the competition: siriusmasterplan.com.

Architects and urban planners from all over the world are expected to submit portfolios of relevant projects, essays with their key ideas regarding the development of Sirius, and visual materials revealing the proposed concept.   

The competition was launched in February to ensure that the best master plan was created for the two districts in the federal territory. The first stage involves the development of a medical cluster specializing in oncological diseases and ensuring longevity, while the second stage involves the construction of a university campus and a high-tech district with research and production infrastructure.

The finalists will be determined at the end of June. To prepare the best quality proposals, they will be given a trip to the competition site, and leading Sirius experts will conduct consultations.
