On June 25, as part of the Open International Competition for the development of a master plan for the scientific and technological districts of the Sirius federal territory, a jury meeting will be held, after which the six finalists will be named for the first time. They will have to develop a master plan that will determine the key scenarios for the spatial organization and functional development of the two Sirius sites.
Media representatives are invited to the announcement of the finalists and the final presentation by the jury members, as well as to the subsequent press approach. Participants will include Elena Shmeleva, chair of the Council of the Sirius Federal Territory and chair of the competition jury, and Her Excellency, Dr. Aisha Bin Bishr, a member of the jury and expert on global digital transformation and a leader in smart city initiatives (UAE), as well as a participant in the “Cities of the Future” immersive project at the Sirius University of Science and Technology.
The announcement of the finalists will be held in the Azurit Hall of Sirius Conference Center, Mantera Supreme Hotel (Sirius FT, Olimpiysky Avenue 36/1), time: 15:40–16:00.
The press approach will be held in the foyer of the Sirius Conference Center and will begin at 16:20 (media representatives gather at 16:15). Journalists will be able to ask questions about the finalists, the progress of the competition and the prospects for the development of the federal territory.

The competition jury includes the Sirius leaders, famous Russian and foreign architects and urban planners, and representatives of federal authorities.
The competition is designed for the development of the best master plan for two sites of the federal territory, in particular, the construction of the latest medical center, the second phase of the Sirius University campus and a high-tech area with laboratories, engineering infrastructure, data processing centers and experimental production facilities.
140 organizations from 20 countries, consisting of 22 international consortia, 7 Russian consortia, as well as 14 individual participants, are competing in the qualifying stage for the final.
